Conversations with Waiting for Beds Artists
This will be a conversation with the artists and a special opportunity to connect with people in our community of care (people on the front lines of healthcare, social work, community assistance, and more) with whom we rarely get to socialize with. This is a time to talk about what we all do and how we can all engage ourselves, and others, in further community artistry together.
We have sent special invitations to a number of community agencies. If you know of anyone or any groups that you would like to invite, please email info@210galleryandartcenter.org and we will send you the information.
We ask, if you are able, to register for the second and third events as we anticipate strong interest and would like to be prepared with proper seating. Search 210 Gallery and Art Center eventbrite.com

Waiting For Beds
As part of the grant from the State Arts Board, we are presenting the traveling exhibit, “Waiting for Beds”.
This multi media exhibit, created by Carla Hamilton and Moira Villiard, presents an exploration into the tumultuous and vicious cycles of mental health crisis, public health, and the healthcare and social systems that are at odds in American society.
This exhibit brings to the surface the inner workings of the systems one falls into when facing a mental health crisis.
They draw from regional research, personal experience, and community input to compose a body of work that tactfully navigates these topics while powerfully delivering the impact and reality of it.
Also included is an element of community engagement, and ours has multiple components.
We are proud to share three different events with this exhibit.
The exhibit runs from March 14 until April 11 with regular gallery hours and by special appointment.

Event Two
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
